USER INTERFACE & VISUAL DESIGN
Cisco’s Internet Protocol phones are ubiquitous in offices across the world. This edition of the phone incorporated a touchscreen that was not a part of the earlier models. This transitionary model had to cater to customers used to the older models as well as to new ones familiar with touch screens.
The user interface and visual design had to work well with hard and soft buttons. This aspect guided the over all design ensuring the user experience remained smooth in both the cases. The on-screen visual design always matched the phone's hard keys making it easy for a user to make the connection between the two.
