DESIGN HISTORY
CONFERENCE
In March 2011, the National Institute of Design in collaboration with the Royal College of Art and The Victoria & Albert Museum hosted the Design History: Ahmedabad-London conference. The conference sought to engage students, teachers and researchers to explore the growth of design history as a specialism – in its Indian and British contexts, as well as considering the possibilities and challenges of its development as a global discipline.
The branding of the conference took inspiration from the easily recognizable architectural structures of historical significance from the cities of Ahmedabad and London to give it a bold and unique look.
